"Mrs. Brisby! Mrs. Brisby, wake up!" Justin's voice echoed. In all her surroundings, she could sense that her comrades were around her. Uttered voices, muttering about her, concerned if she was alive. Justin's voice trying to reach out to her so she wouldn't be lost. So she'd be able to take care of her children.
"Wake up, Mrs. Brisby! Please! Please wake up!" His voice echoed again. Mrs. Brisby moaned as she slowly opened her eyelids. Very slowly, she turned to him.
"J-Ju . . . J-Justin?" she said softly. The rat lightly chuckled, relieved she was alright.
"Oh, thank goodness! You're alright, you started to worry me there." Justin said, hugging the small mouse. Noticing the wrapped bandage around his arm, Mrs. Brisby hugged him tightly.
"I'm sorry." Justin seemed confused, but then got the idea. He figured she saw his wound, all bandaged up.
"No, it's fine! I'm okay."
